Book notes: Pacifer stars in Thalia’s children’s book (El Paso Times)

Internationally known singer, songwriter and actress Thalia is now also a children’s author. She has created a picture storybook that all parents can relate to: persuading children to give up the pacifier.

“Chupie The Binky That Returned Home” (Celebra Children’s Books) is billed as a fanciful story about Sabrina, a little girl who wouldn’t give up her pacifier until her mother told the story of Chupie, the little pacifier who eventually has to leave to be with his own parents.

Ana Martín Larrañaga, a New York City artist who has illustrated numerous books for children, produced the colorful artwork for “Chupie.” The book was published in English and Spanish.
